Retail and Tourism
Liverpool evolved from a market town to become one of the most famous trading cities in the world and Liverpool is now projected to go into the top 5 UK retail destinations.
The new Liverpool ONE retail development which is the size of 28 full-size football pitches, is set to bring the best in fashion, home and leisure to the city. Liverpool ONE includes 160 exciting new shops, cafes and restaurants overlooking the stunning Chavasse Park, two new hotels, a 14-screen Odeon cinema and more than 600 stylish apartments.
Liverpool attractions greet you on every street, and the accolade as European Capital of Culture 2008 was well deserved. The architecture is world-class, with more listed buildings than any city outside London.
