Northshore
Northshore is located immediately north of Liverpool city centre and is focused on the A565 Atlantic Avenue corridor.
The area includes both operational and historic dockland areas and the local economy is predictably strong in the maritime and port-related sectors.
The areas maritime heritage is reflected in its World Heritage Site status, the dock wall and the Stanley Dock complex are significant components of Liverpool’s maritime history.
Liverpool Vision is working with developers, existing businesses and the community to ensure that the commercial opportunities in Northshore can provide jobs for the residents of North Liverpool and beyond.
The area is home to a range of businesses but large scale development opportunities remain, particularly in two core sites – Central Docks and Stanley Docks.
Wellington Employment Park/Connect Business Village
Langtree Group's scheme occupies three sites in the Sandhills area. The high-quality accommodation at the 4.8-hectare development is helping to attract investment and jobs to the area. The scheme provides 16,843 sq m of light industrial units and offices and will generate up to 500 new jobs.
The industrial scheme was developed over two phases and comprises 19 units totalling 108,450 sq ft (10, 100m2) ranging in size from 1,500 to 33,500 sq ft.
Canada Place
Award-winning developer UK Land and Property has been selected to redevelop this former goods yard at the junction of Derby Road and Bankhall Street. The site, which has now been branded Canada Place, could accommodate up to 6,965 sq m of new commercial floorspace and generate around 160 new jobs.Central Docks
