FACT chooses ICE to redevelop high-profile website
Agency beats off stiff competition from 24 others to win prestigious contract
Liverpool-based FACT (the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) has been unveiled as ICE’s latest new client, following a series of new contracts for its digital and design specialists. As well as being a renowned arts centre, FACT is the UK's leading organisation for the support and exhibition of film, art and new media.
Beating off stiff competition from 24 other creative agencies, ICE is the agency of choice to develop FACT’s website and further reinforce its national reputation for pioneering new forms of artistic and social interaction with individuals and communities.
In the coming weeks, ICE will be working closely with the team from FACT on ‘co-creation’ workshops to involve staff and stakeholders in developing a truly collaborative online presence. The new website will reflect the organisation’s wide-ranging activities spanning community engagement, audience interaction, brand development and commercial ventures.
Reflecting on the new partnership, Paul Wood, Creative Director at ICE says, “Going up against such a high volume of other creative agencies and securing this exciting new piece of work is testament to the skills, passion and vision we have within the team here at ICE, which allows us to deliver solutions that go above and beyond for our clients.
“In getting to this stage, we placed a huge amount of effort on demonstrating our innovation - which is central to everything we do. To be told we were the only agency to come up with such a unique approach speaks volumes in terms of how we remain at the cutting edge of our industry. We’re looking forward to a long and productive relationship with FACT – a truly innovative and cutting-edge partner.”
Mike Stubbs, Director/CEO of FACT, adds, "As the UK's leading digital arts centre, it is vital that FACT's website is innovatively designed, robust in build and a pleasure to use. ICE showed us that they had the experience and creativity to deliver what we believe will be an outstanding website and an industry leader within the arts.”
