Digital & creative industries are considered both a growth sector for FDI and an area where emerging trade relationships can develop into significant local opportunity. Information technology will continue to grow a more pervasive role in our daily lives and in businesses across all industries and the Software & IT industry is expected to continue be the leading sector for FDI projects.

We are seeking to appoint a ICT Sector Director to work with Liverpool Vision, initially until 31 March 2012. The anticipated start date is November 2011.

We are keen to recruit an individual with a track record of building solid relationships with individual businesses, and with groups of businesses, who can maintain the reputation that Liverpool Vision has established as well as developing new international inward investment relationships that will benefit the City of Liverpool.
