Old Swan dance group Dance Dynamix through to the final of Davina McCall’s Got To Dance
Dance Dynamix was today preparing to perform for a live TV audience of 6000 people in the Got To Dance final.
The Old Swan group, which is made up of 12 performers, reached the semi-finals of last year’s Sky1 dance show. The dancers auditioned again and on Sunday they made it through to this year’s live final at London’s Kensington Olympia.
They will battle it out against seven other acts to become Got To Dance 2011 champions and receive the largest ever cash prize won on a TV talent show – £250,000.
If the group is successful they plan to invest a proportion of the prize money back into local community activities.
The final of Got To Dance will be aired on Sunday, February 27. The show attracts up to 1.5 million viewers.
