£65m Scheme for Baltic Triangle

£65m Scheme for Baltic Triangle

Developer Neptune unveils £65m regeneration scheme for Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle.

Neptune Developments expects to submit plans for a £65m scheme including a four-star hotel and two apartment blocks early in the New Year.

Neptune hopes to start work on the former site of chandlers Joseph Lamb and Sons within six months and have at least half of the scheme finished by the summer of 2013.

Today, Liverpool council’s regeneration cabinet member, Cllr Malcolm Kennedy, said: “It is great to see developers are still interested in investing in Liverpool and we are still going forward despite the difficult financial situation across the world.”

Neptune will set up a joint venture with Barclays, which is owed £25.5m as the main creditor to Windsor Developments’ failed scheme.
