£2m Bootle redevelopment completed

A development of retail and residential properties has been completed on Stanley Road in Bootle.

The project has created three retail units and 12 two-bedroom apartments which have been pre-sold to Cosmopolitan Housing Association.

The £2m scheme was completed by Keepmoat, with Bolton-based Seddon Construction appointed as the main contractor on the site.

Councillor Ian Maher, Sefton Council’s cabinet member for regeneration and housing, said: "The scheme has set the bar high for future investment in this part of Stanley Road that will hopefully be replicated in future developments to ensure that this important corridor remains vibrant."

Martin Hodgson, head of property at Keepmoat, said: "Keepmoat is delighted to have worked with Sefton council and partners to develop a flagship building for the area."

The scheme was funded by Keepmoat with contributions from Sefton Council and the Homes and Communities Agency.
